Impact Friday Cleanup | Lake Pleasant

Join us for the 2nd Annual Impact Friday Cleanup event! Save the date, bring the whole family and have some fun picking up trash! We'll be picking up trash along the banks of Lake Pleasant. We'll have snacks and free KIW tees for every volunteer. This is going to be our biggest event of the year so come and meet some like-minded people and have some fun with us!

Who: Everyone! Bring friends, family, pets (friendly ones on leashes please), and more friends!

What: Trash cleanup along the shore and trails of Lake Pleasant

When: 11/23/18 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Keep it Wild has recently adopted two urban trails within the Flagstaff Urban Trail System. We are so excited to be responsible for cleaning along the historic highway and urban trail systems in Flagstaff. Come hang out, do some good, and help keep this beautiful stretch of city free from trash!

This is our first ever Cleanup in Tucson!  We will be working alongside Friends of Redington PassSummit Hut, and Tread Lightly. We will be cleaning up a section of roadway that leads to Mount Lemmon.

Can you think of a better Saturday than spending it outside with your two favorite adventure brands?  We've teamed up with our BFF's BANGS Shoes and  Keep Austin Beautiful to host a collaborative meetup and cleanup initiative in their home city of Austin, TX! Join us as we combine our two communities and celebrate our Keep Bangs Wild collaboration!

Cleanup at Beardsley Boulder Pile: REI Event

The Beardsley Boulder Pile, a long-frequented and beloved climbing and recreation area located in North Phoenix, is in dire need of your help! Join REI, the City of Phoenix, and local climbing gyms to be a quintessential part of our second-annual cleanup project of the area, Trim Beardsley. In addition to giving this area the grooming it so desperately needs, volunteers will have the awesome opportunity to experience the excellent climbing Beardsley offers, but without all of the broken glass and trash that it's so tragically become notorious for, and with a brand-new set of climbing buddies. Coffee, breakfast, cold refreshments & all of the necessary cleaning tools/supplies will be provided for volunteers and participants. A raffle will be held following the cleanup, with multiple prizes geared towards both climbers and outdoor enthusiasts alike.

We will be cleaning up in and around the Activity Center, the trailheads, and Scorpion Gulch. 

Please plan on parking at the Activity Center (Environmental Education Center) parking lot. You will see our pop-up tent.  There is plenty of parking but we encourage carpooling.
